Microsoft Windows 7 honchos recently demonstrated improvements in energy efficiency of your operating system to be launched soon, playing a DVD on a Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate laptop side by side. Laptop Vista showed 4.14 hours of life left, while Windows 7 offers 5.5 hours. The catch? These improvements come through engineering Intel and Microsoft said that the actual performance in the world is due to differ depending on the hardware. However, it is good to know if you're the guy who made a flight on a marathon of movies.
